Ziggy Link allows Forbidden Druid and Dreadnought owners the ability to apply the business up front, party out back mixed wheel size approach to their bikes.
Replacing the lower link from the two-part Rate Control linkage, Ziggy Link re-calibrates the geometry to accept a smaller 27.5in rear wheel and immediately converts your 29'er Druid or Dreadnought into a mullet sporting corner slayer.
We all know that 29" wheels are fast, but hitting corners and linking turns on a Ziggy Link equipped bike is a feeling that needs to be experienced. Delivering increased reaction times and a heightened ability to change direction and adapt to the trail ahead. Opening the Druid or Dreadnought up and letting things get wild while remaining relaxed and composed is eye-wateringly fun.
What tools are required to install the Ziggy Link?
Torque wrench (up to 14Nm)
5 & 6mm Allen torque bits
5 & 6mm Allen keys
Can a home mechanic install the Ziggy Link?
Yes, it’s a fairly straightforward job for a competent home mechanic and there are no bearings in the lower link, but due to the nature of a suspension linkage, it is imperative that torque settings are adhered to. We, therefore, recommend that work should not be attempted without a torque wrench and the knowledge to use it accordingly. For a professional shop mechanic, this is a quick and simple job so it should be a quick turnaround at your local bike shop.
Can you run a 27.5" front wheel?
Categorically no and doing so will void your warranty.
Does the Ziggy Link change the Druid’s geometry?
We have offset any changes to the kinematics but the geometry is marginally lower and slacker.
(Druid) Is the Ziggy Link compatible with my hardware?
The Ziggy Link is only compatible with V2 Linkage hardware. If your Linkage has black aluminum shafts, you're good to go! If you're not sure, send us an email and we can get you sorted: email@example.com
Shipping & Returns
We ship most orders using the Australia Post eParcel system which allows us to ship to most Residential and Business addresses. Once your order ships you will receive an email with your tracking number.
All shipping quotes are an estimate, and certain bulky or heavy orders may require an additional shipping fee.
Some products cannot be shipped; such as bikes and bulky items.
You can still order these online and Pick Up In Store - this option will be pre-selected at checkout. Please contact us if you have any questions!
Can I return my order?
Full-price items: Item may be returned for exchange or online store credit within 14 days (minus freight cost).
Sale or Promotional items: All sales are final, not eligible for return.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help! We don’t refund on change of mind purchases, however we do can exchange full priced items within 14 days of the order date.
Conditions of Return/Exchange
Promotional or sale items are not eligible for return/exchange. Customised items, consumables, perishable items, and base-layer clothing is not eligible for return/exchange. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition with all tags attached. The returned item must be in the original packaging (e.g. shoe box) and the packaging must be undamaged in saleable condition. Your receipt or proof of purchase must be included with the return. The customer must cover the cost of the return postage for the item (unless deemed faulty or wrong item by our team). If exchanging an item, the customer must also cover the cost of the new item being posted. An invoice for the postage will be sent prior to the new item being sent out.
